Indy Restaurants Approved for Visiting NBA Teams

Three downtown Indianapolis restaurants are included in the NBA’s list of approved restaurants for visiting teams. ESPN reports the restaurants needed to agree to a set of rules to be included, such as outdoor space availability and a secure entrance and exit to limit exposure to staff and patrons.
The Indianapolis restaurants on the list include St. Elmo Steak House, Prime 47, and Union 50. In a post on Facebook, St. Elmo said it was humbled to be included.
The list was created by the NBA and the players’ association. Other requirements for inclusion on the list, according to ESPN, include access to a secure private room that doesn’t share air space with the rest of the restaurant and the requirement that servers wear masks and face guards, and maintain a six-foot distance.
