Indy Realtors Launch Maywright Property Co.

A new woman-owned real estate brokerage firm serving central Indiana is open for business in Indianapolis. Maywright Property Co., which is one of the only all woman-owned brokerages in the Hoosier state, has been launched by residential realtors Natalie Clayton, Chanda Johnson, and Jess Martin.
The founders say they created Maywright as a nod to May Wright Sewall, an early-20th Century icon with Indiana ties known for efforts in education, women’s suffrage and community development.
“For nearly four years, the three of us have met monthly along with other women brokers, to support each other and share thought leadership aimed at better serving our clients and collaborating with other brokers,” said Clayton. “We know and trust each other, as well as share the same values as we work for our clients, for our business, and for the real estate industry.”
The three founder-brokers say they bring a combined 20 years of experience as well as more than 600 transactions and $157 million in sales to the business.
“All Maywright realtors are uniquely positioned to serve their clients in central Indiana, because we share a commitment to really understanding the communities in which we live and work,” said Johnson. “From our involvement in our community and neighborhood organizations, to our strong relationships with local businesses and community leaders, we ultimately create lasting connections and relationships with our clients.”
The company says it will represent buyers and sellers and will also provide leasing, investing, relocation and new construction representation.
