Applied Composites Engineering Inc. says the project would result in more than 100 new jobs by 2019. The company manufactures composite and metal products for the aerospace and military sectors. ACE says the expansion would also allow it to retain its 96 current employees.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Commission is scheduled to take an initial vote Wednesday, December 4 on the proposal. If it passes, final approval could come December 18. The City-County Council must also clear the project because it is in a Tax Increment Financing area.
