Indy, Ft. Wayne Among ‘Most Caring’ Cities

Indianapolis was ranked 47th on the list. Fort Wayne wasn’t far away at number 52.
The web site says its data set ranges from the percentage of sheltered homeless people to the percentage of income donated to charity to the number of rehabilitation centers per capita. The cities were compared across three dimensions: caring for the community, caring for the vulnerable and homeless and caring in the work force.
Boise, Idaho was ranked number one on the list followed by Lincoln, Nebraska, Madison, Wisconsin, Anchorage, Alaska, and Chesapeake, Virginia. To see the full list, click here.
