Indy Eleven is set to announce the corporate sponsor whose name will grace the front of the team's jerseys. The professional soccer team is set to play its first match in April. September 24, 2013

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indy Eleven Professional Soccer yesterday teased details regarding the three-pronged “First on the First” announcement of historic club news set to take place next Tuesday, October 1… and today the club's fans get their first glimpse of what's to come.

Next Tuesday, the 2014 expansion North American Soccer League side will proudly welcome to the Indy Eleven family the corporate partner whose logo will be displayed on the front of the team's jerseys when it hits the field beginning next spring. Representatives from the jersey-front partner will be on hand to celebrate with the club and its fans at the announcement taking place at The Rathskeller, located at 401 E. Michigan in downtown Indianapolis.

Indy Eleven has two more components of the big announcement to unveil across the next two days, which will be communicated to the masses via IndyEleven.com and the team's social media channels.

The presentation portion of the “First on the First” event will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET, when Indy Eleven Owner Ersal Ozdemir, President/General Manager Peter Wilt and Director of Soccer Operations/Head Coach Juergen Sommer will welcome special guests in front of the Indy Eleven faithful. The presentation will be hosted in the Biergarten section of the landmark Indianapolis restaurant, which will be open to soccer fans of all ages from 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Due to an anticipated large crowd, Indy Eleven is asking fans interested in attending to RSVP for this special event, which will also automatically enter them into a drawing for special raffle prizes to be handed out during the evening. The first 100 of an anticipated 500 spots have already been reserved for this memorable night.

Fans of the “beautiful game” can make a full day out of the proceedings at The Rathskeller, as the event will be bookended by viewing parties surrounding a pair of huge international and domestic soccer events. The day begins with a slate of 2013/14 UEFA Champions League group stage matches at 2:45 p.m. and will close out with the final of the 100th Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup – the United States' national championship tournament which Indy Eleven will compete in beginning next spring – at 9:30 p.m. Food and drinks specials will be made available to patrons throughout the marathon celebration of soccer at The Rathskeller.
