Another major economic development announcement is set for Thursday afternoon. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says Indianapolis-based Interactive Intelligence Group Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ININ) plans involve hundreds of new jobs. The move follows an announcement Wednesday from Jasper Engines & Transmissions involving a $7 million investment and up to 235 new jobs in DuBois County. Also this week, Japan-based TOA Industries Co. Ltd. detailed plans to invest more than $72 million in its Morgan County operations and add up to 220 jobs by 2015.

Governor Mike Pence will join Don Brown, founder of Interactive Intelligence, a global provider of software and services that improve the customer experience, on Thursday at 1:45 p.m. in Indianapolis for an economic development announcement regarding hundreds of new jobs for Hoosiers.
