An Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical repackaging and fulfillment company has acquired New York-based Denton Pharma Inc. Northwind Pharmaceuticals says the multi-million-dollar deal will result in about 20 new jobs in Indianapolis over the next year.
Denton Pharma specializes in packaging, repackaging and distribution of prescription legend drugs, animal health products and antibiotics. It also provides services including private labeling, custom packaging and kitting, and third party logistics. Northwind says Denton will continue its operations in the northeast.
Northwind says Denton Founder and President Keith Graham will retain his position with the company.
"We are thrilled to bring Keith and his team on board as members of our organization," said Phillip Berry, chief executive officer of Northwind. "Their experience, leadership, and integrity will bring tremendous value to the Northwind family and our clients nationally."
In a news release, Northwind says the addition of Denton will be an "integral part of Northwind’s plans to expand current in-office dispensing programs, mail order prescription fulfillment offerings, hospital and long-term care unit dose services, as well as contract repackaging services."
