Indy CDL Recruitment Firm Acquired

Virginia-based workforce management firm TransForce Inc. has acquired Indianapolis-based commercial truck driver recruitment and staffing firm Driving Ambition Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however TransForce says the integration of Driving Ambition will begin early next year.

Driving Ambition has locations in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville and South Bend, as well as others in Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee. David Broome, president and chief executive officer of TransForce, tells Inside INdiana Business the company does not expect any jobs to be negatively affected by the acquisition.

"The Driving Ambition team brings over a decade of experience in truck driver recruitment and fulfillment and are truly excited about the future with TransForce," said Jeremy Reymer, CEO of Driving Ambition. "Not only does TransForce mirror our quality business practices, they mirror our dedication to the transportation industry. Our futures together will be extraordinary."

TransForce says Driving Ambition will continue to operate independently through the end of the year. Broome says the goal is to integrate Driving Ambition into the TransForce operations in the first quarter of 2018.
