Indy Among Cities with ‘Most Profitable Businesses’

Lendingtree has released its list of 50 “top-ranking metros for profitable businesses.” Indianapolis took the third spot, behind Louisville and Seattle.  

Lendingtree found that in Indianapolis, nearly 70 percent of more than 21,000 businesses reported profits. Though many businesses are profitable, companies in Indianapolis face higher health care costs, as do businesses across the state, which may have cost the Hoosier state a higher spot, according to the report.
