The project will add one lane in each direction on the 13-mile stretch of I-65 and replace the dual bridges over the Kankakee River.
INDOT says the meeting aims to educate local residents, business owners, governments and motorists about the design, project schedule and traffic plans for the project, which is part of the Major Moves 2020 initiative. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions or provide comments on the project.
