INDOT Continues to Seek Winter Workers

The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced seasonal hiring plans for the west central part of the state. INDOT is planning a series of job fairs this month as it looks for snow plow drivers and maintenance workers. October 15, 2013

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) aims to hire multiple Seasonal Winter Program Workers at upcoming job fairs this week and next week. Successful hires will work as snow plow drivers during snow and ice events and may perform general highway maintenance duties during the winter season (November- March). Positions are available throughout West Central Indiana including: Terre Haute, West Lafayette, Fowler, Frankfort, Cloverdale and Crawfordsville. All of the job fairs will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the locations and dates below:

• Terre Haute: Thursday, October 17th located at 5693 East Sony Drive, Terre Haute

• West Lafayette: Friday, October 18th located at 1205 Montgomery Street, West Lafayette

• Frankfort: Monday, October 21st located at 1675 West State Road 28, Frankfort

• Cloverdale: Tuesday, October 22nd located at 10 High Street, Cloverdale

• Crawfordsville: Thursday, October 24th located at 41 West 300 North, Crawfordsville

Priority at the job fair will be given to qualified individuals who apply online in advance at http://www.in.gov/spd/2334.htm under the Job Bank ID #586546 and/or #586555. Qualified applicants are asked to bring their valid commercial driver’s license and resume with them to one of the job fairs listed above.
