The Indianapolis Indians will Wednesday host its first job fair at Victory Field. The team says it is looking to fill a variety of game day and seasonal positions, including field operations, guest relations and merchandise.
The job fair will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the Impact Suite Level of the downtown Indy ballpark. Some of the other available positions include bat boys/girls, production/audio staff, ticket sellers, ticket takers, game promotion staff and ushers.
"Our game day staff plays an important role in creating memorable experiences for our fans at Victory Field," said Randy Lewandowski, president and general manager of the Indians. "We look forward to hosting our first-ever job fair and are excited to welcome these potential newcomers into our friendly, service-driven culture."
Free parking will be available in the Victory Field parking lot. Job seekers must be at least 16 years-old and be prepared to complete and application, questionnaire, and in-person interview.
The Indians’ 70-game home schedule begins April 11.
