The Indianapolis Indians have named Cheyne Reiter baseball communications manager. He previously served as communications manager for the Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Reiter will oversee baseball communications for the organization, serving as the day-to-day media contact and working with players, field staff and the front office on communications projects. His career also includes stints with the Clinton LumberKings (Single-A, Seattle Mariners), Pulaski Mariners (Rookie-Advanced, Seattle Mariners) and University of Iowa athletic department. Reiter is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he majored in journalism and minored in sports studies. Prior to becoming a Hawkeye, he played two years of soccer and one year of baseball at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa.
