A search committee and the board of directors have chosen Liam Bonner to be the next executive director of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. Bonner comes to Indianapolis from the Houston Symphony Orchestra, where he was a manager in the orchestra’s development department. He also formerly sang professionally with performances at the Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Opera and more.
“We at the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir are excited to welcome an established arts leader with the depth and breadth of Liam’s talent and experience,” said Search Committee Chair Kathy Landschulz. “His noted success as a fundraiser at one of the nation’s top orchestras, coupled with his practical familiarity with the challenges and opportunities faced by performing arts organizations, makes him an excellent choice to help guide the Symphonic Choir’s continued growth and achievement.”
Bonner begins his new role in January 2019.
