The largest newspaper in the state could be moving its headquarters to the Circle Centre mall. Star Media, which publishes The Indianapolis Star, confirms it is in negotiations with Simon Property Group Inc. (NYSE: SPG) to move into a portion of the former Nordstrom space. She says the search has taken place over course of nearly a year.

Crotchfelt says, “The location would put us in the heart of Indianapolis and creates opportunities for events to interact with our readers.”

The paper is owned by Virginia-based Gannett Co. Inc. (NYSE: GCI).
