Indianapolis Marketing Firm Acquired

Two marketing firms in Indianapolis are combining. Mortenson Kim, which has offices in Indy and Milwaukee, has acquired Raidious in a deal it says will create one of the largest marketing communication agencies in the state.
The combined firm will be known as Mortenson Kim + Raidious. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, however the company says its capitalized billings are projected to exceed $40 million annually.
"We’re excited about the potential in combining these firms because the foundation we’re creating is based on the incredibly strong building blocks from which each company is made," said Chris Mortenson, chief executive officer of Mortenson Kim + Raidious. "In the short term, our goal is to continue to execute at the highest level and deliver positive results for our clients, given our increased capacity in service delivery and sector and channel expertise."
Raidious was founded in 2009 by Taulbee Jackson, a former vice president for the agency that would later become Mortenson Kim. While the new firm did not specify the impact the acquisition would have on jobs, Jackson says the firm is "excited about bringing these two incredibly talented teams together."
The combined firm says it will maintain both its Indianapolis and Milwaukee offices, and its Indy operations will be located in a recently-renovated space at Pan Am Plaza in the city’s downtown.
