Indiana Tech has named Dr. Ying Shang as its new dean of the College of Engineering and School of Computer Sciences. She will begin at the university on June 28, 2021. Shang most recently served as dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science and professor and served in various roles, including chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Shandon University and master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame.
