Indiana Tech launches accelerated MBA program

Indiana Tech will launch a 12-month MBA program at a total cost of $11,000 later this year.
The Fort Wayne-based university’s new Pacesetter MBA is a 30-credit hour program in which students earn their degree over the course of two six-month terms. During each term, students take four individual six-week classes, one class at a time. Eight class start dates a year intend to offer flexibility.
“Our new Pacesetter MBA uniquely combines each student’s business experience from their field with opportunities to learn from experts and gain valuable skills and knowledge,” Angie Fincannon, dean of the College of Business, said in a news release. “It’s a program perfectly tailored to the needs of working professionals in today’s competitive job market.”
The Pacesetter MBA program, which is offered at a lower cost than the university’s standard MBA program, starts this summer at the beginning of the 2025-26 academic year.
It offers a choice of 10 concentrations:
- Business analytics
- Global health leadership
- Health care management
- Human resources
- Management
- Marketing
- Professional studies
- Project management
- Sport administration
- Supply chain management

Founded in 1930, Indiana Tech offers associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees and undergraduate and graduate certificates. About 5,000 students are enrolled each semester.
