Indiana State Police Break Ground on New Hangar

The city of Greenwood and Indiana State Police have broken ground on a hangar at Indy South Greenwood Airport. Construction is set to begin immediately and completion is slated for later this year.

Announced last year, ISP and Greenwood have an agreement that includes the new hangar, with office space, for the ISP Aviation Fleet and personnel.

ISP officials say they decided to build the hangar on Indy South Greenwood Airport for its accessibility to I-65 and convenient access to other parts of the state.
