Indiana State Fair announces 2025 Featured Farmers

More than a dozen farmers in Indiana will be honored this summer at the Indiana State Fair as part of a program a decade in the making.
This week, the Indiana State Fair announced the 15 Featured Farmers who help fair goers put a face to Indiana agriculture. The farmers represent different regions around the state and will each be featured one day during the fair running from Aug. 1-Aug. 17.
“Part of our mission at the Indiana State Fair is to preserve the rich agricultural heritage of Indiana and to connect our fairgoers with the farmers who work tirelessly to feed our communities,” said Indiana State Fair Commission Executive Director Cindy Hoye. “This program is a testament to the dedication and passion of Hoosier farmers, and we are grateful to partner with Corteva to bring these stories to life.”
In a release, the state fair says visitors will be able to attend a talk in the Glass Barn with a Featured Farmer each day of the fair. The Featured Farmers program is in its 10th year.

- The Hart Ranch, (Goats, Goat Soap), Johnson County
- Sroufe farms, (Hogs, Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Trucking), Miami County
- TST Farms, (Corn, Soybeans), Parke County
- Winzerwald Winery, (Grapes, Wine, Vineyard), Perry County
- Crowder Pork, (Pork), Fountain County
- Stockwell Farms, (Dairy), Steuben County
- Cripe Family Farms and Animal-Gram, (Reindeer, Mini Pigs, Goats, Chickens, Ducks, Ponies, Turkeys, Alpacas, Rabbits), Wabash County
- New Generation Dairy, (Dairy, Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Meat Processing Plant), Gibson County
- Tippco Farm, (Tilapia), Tippecanoe County
- Schrock Farms, (Corn, Soybeans), St. Joesph County
