Indiana Sports Corp. Awards Grants

The Indiana Sports Corp. has unveiled its 2016 Susan Williams CHAMPS Grants. The organization says the recipients provide sports programs for nearly 4,600 children in 54 counties.
The funding aims to boost sports, fitness activities and life skills programming for children. The initiative is funded by proceeds from the annual Youthlinks Indiana Charity Golf Tournament as well as contributions by the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation, United Water and the Samerian Foundation. This year’s Youthlinks Indiana Charity Golf Tournament is set for Monday, June 27 at the Sagamore Golf Club in Noblesville.
The grants range from $2,000 to $7,500 for a total of about $85,000.
