Indiana Shines Again in National Rankings

A national corporate site selection firm ranks Indiana among the three most business-friendly states in America. The rankings from Pollina Corporate Real Estate Inc. are based on 32 factors including taxes, education, infrastructure spending and regulatory environment.
The state’s business climate ranking has improved from seventh last year and 23rd in 2010. Indiana is also ahead of neighboring states Michigan (10), Ohio (20), Kentucky (28) and Illinois (47).
The Pollina list is the latest national recognition for Indiana. Forbes last month ranked Indiana’s business climate 8th in its latest survey, and 6th by Chief Executive magazine in May. Over the summer, the Pacific Research Institute ranked Indiana the best state in the nation for small business growth.
