Indiana Schools Secure Digital Learning Grants

More than two dozen school districts throughout the state will receive Digital Learning Grants through the Indiana Department of Education. The Office of eLearning funding will support STEM and computer science initiatives. Between $11,000 and $75,000 will go toward each school for a total of nearly $2 million.
The IDOE says proposals include new curriculum, devices for coding, robotics equipment and professional development. Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick says "maintaining a focus on STEM activities in today’s educational environment is vital to preparing students for their future success. I congratulate the awarded districts as I know they will use this grant to continue making a positive impact in their communities."
