Indiana-Produced Vehicle Earns Major Honor

The publication has named the Honda CR-V, which is produced at Honda Manufacturing of Indiana LLC in Greensburg, its 2018 SUV of the Year.
The CR-V is also manufactured at Honda’s facilities in East Liberty, Ohio and Allison, Ontario in Canada. Honda announced in January 2016 it was relocating production of the SUV from Mexico to Greensburg, bringing more than 100 jobs to the area. Work on the vehicle began at the plant in February 2017.
The previous generation of the CR-V won the Motor Trend SUV of the Year award in 2015. The Greensburg plant also produces the Civic, which was named the 2016 North American Car of the Year.
