The Indiana Office of Tourism and Development has named Amy Howell director of communications and media relations. Before joining state government, she spent 11 years at WISH-TV in Indianapolis. Howell has earned four Emmys, while organizing, planning and producing major events for the station. She also spent 3 years at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne.
