Indiana Nonprofit Hires Director of Advancement

Indiana Connected By 25 has hired Scott Monnett as director of advancement. He has more than 15 years of experience in fundraising, community relations, annual giving, partnership engagement and organization development. Monnett previously worked in the family and youth service recreation and enrichment industry through Parks and Recreation, YMCA and Boys & Girls Clubs in Lafayette, Zionsville, Bloomington, Fort Wayne and Gainesville, Florida.
Along with his organization and operations management experience, he has served as a national trainer for Community Support Campaigns and Project Management with the YMCA of USA. Monnett has led multiple capital and annual campaigns and worked with volunteers to successfully lead a variety of fundraising events.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University with a major in Sports Studies, Exercise Science & Fitness Management. Monnett also holds multiple industry-specific certifications including Fund Development, Advanced Leadership, Project Management, Board Development and Organizational Leadership.
Indiana Connected By 25 provides financial, educational and social support to young people who are about to age out of the foster care system or already have.
