Crown Point-based Indiana Mailing Systems has announced a merger with Munster-based McShane’s Inc. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however McShane’s says the move will allow for expansion into four new Indiana counties.
McShane’s says it will retain "key people" from IMS and will be adding additional support staff due to the expansion into Fulton, Pulaski, Starke and White counties. The company currently employs 45 people with locations in Munster and Mishawaka.
"As our firm continues to grow and as our industry changes, we continually seek ways to be sure we remain on the cutting edge in the marketplace, having the very best products, service and the technology to support them," said Brian McShane, president of McShane’s. "The addition of Indiana Mailing Systems not only adds another great product line to our offerings, but also completes our “One Stop Shop”, backed by the best and highly trained service personnel in the area."
IMS President Kevin Snedden says merging his company into McShane’s will bring even more resources to his company’s clients.
