Indiana Hospitals Earn National Accolades

Six hospitals in the state have received a prestigious national honor. The winners of the annual Consumer Choice Award from Nebraska-based National Research Corp. are selected from survey results measuring perceptions of quality and image.
National Research Corp. says the distinction helps determine "the most-preferred hospitals in markets across the U.S."
The Indiana hospitals on this year’s list are:
Elkhart General Hospital
St. Mary’s Medical Center-Evansville Campus
Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne
Community Hospital-Munster
Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette
Memorial Hospital of South Bend
St. Mary’s Health President Keith Jewell says "this honor means so much to us, because it means that our own community has given us high marks in terms of the quality care we provide for our patients."
The survey’s involve a pool of more than 300,000 U.S. households.
