Indiana Historical Society Names 2019 Living Legends

The Indiana Historical Society has announced its class of 2019 Indiana Living Legends, to be recognized at its annual gala later this year. IHS recognizes Hoosiers each year for their accomplishments. The gala is IHS’s main fundraising event and furthers its mission to support statewide programs and services.
The 2019 Living Legends are Apple Retail Senior Vice President Angela Ahrendts, President and First Lady of Marian University Dan and Beth Elsener, CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center founder Eva Kor and former NFL Quarterback Peyton Manning. The black-tie gala will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 25 at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center. A committee of civic and corporate leaders chooses the recipients. Tickets and more information can be found at the IHS website.
