Indiana Republicans have set their statewide candidates for the November election. The party officially nominated Secretary of State Connie Lawson, Treasurer Kelly Mitchell and Auditor Tera Klutz at the 2018 Indiana Republican State Convention in Evansville.
"By putting forward an all-female ticket for just the second time in Indiana history," said Indiana GOP Chairman Kyle Hupfer in a news release, "Indiana Republicans are providing Hoosier voters with the energy we need to continue moving this state forward."
Indiana Democrats will hold their state convention Saturday in Indianapolis. The party is expected to nominate small business owner and former teacher Joselyn Whitticker for state auditor and former Indiana House Representative John Aguilera for state treasurer.
