The Indiana Conference for Women has named its first executive director. Marie Davis, who previously served as director of communications strategy for Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch, will take on the newly-created role.

Davis is also the co-founder and former chief executive officer of Keystone Message Integration in Carmel and a former board member for the National Association of Women Business Owners. Billie Dragoo-Garcia, co-founder of the Indiana Conference for Women, praised Davis for her experience coming into her new position.

"We are excited that the continued growth of the conference brings us to this next chapter.” said Dragoo-Garcia. “Marie brings years of institutional and community leadership and fund development success to this role as well as a passion for the continued elevation of the status of women socially, financially, and emotionally."

The nonprofit Indiana Conference for Women is in its 8th year and will return to Indianapolis November 8.
