Newsweek is out with its annual ranking of “America’s Most Responsible Companies,” and 11 Indiana-based companies are included. The 600 companies are ranked based on three areas of corporate social responsibility: environmental, social, and corporate governance.
The companies were chosen from the top 2,000 public companies by revenue. This year’s list has 100 more companies than last year.
Evansville-based Berry Global Group is the highest-ranked Indiana company at No. 35. It is the only Indiana company in the top 100.
The other Hoosier representatives on the list are:
- 155. Elevance Health (Indianapolis)
- 169. Franklin Electric (Fort Wayne)
- 195. Cummins (Columbus)
- 221. LCI Industries (Elkhart)
- 361. Elanco Animal Health (Greenfield)
