Indiana Companies Among ‘Most Admired’

Cummins ranks third among its peers.

An annual rating of the reputations of global companies includes three businesses headquartered in Indiana. The 2016 Most Admired Companies list, released by FORTUNE, includes an overall top 50 and individual industry rankings.

No Hoosier business made the Top 50. The companies that did were identified through survey responses from a group of 4,000 executives, directors and security analysts, who listed their ten most admired companies.

Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) is number one in the real estate category, Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) is third in construction and farming and Indianapolis-based insurer Anthem Inc. (NYSE: ANTM) placed fifth among its healthcare and managed care peers.
