A record crowd of more than 2,000 was on hand Tuesday to celebrate honorees at the 28th Annual Indiana Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner. Winners include: Lafayette-based Subaru Indiana Automotive Inc. Senior Executive Vice President Tom Easterday, Business Leader of the Year; State Representative Ed Soliday (R-4), Government Leader of the Year; Former Salesforce Marketing Cloud Chief Executive Officer and current TechPoint board chair Scott McCorkle, Indiana Chamber Foundation’s Indiana Vision 2025 Dynamic Leader of the Year; and the city of Goshen, Lifeline Data Centers Community of the Year.
The event at the Indiana Convention Center, which was headlined by a keynote presentation from former Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Peyton Manning, also honored Chuck Baldwin, one of the two managing directors of global law firm Ogletree Deakins, who will serve as the chamber’s 2018 board chair. Chamber CEO Kevin Brinegar was recognized by Governor Eric Holcomb with a Sagamore of the Wabash for "exceptional business leadership."
You can connect to more about the winners through features in the chamber’s BizVoice magazine. The Indiana Chamber represents some four million Hoosiers through partnerships with 25,000 members and investors.
Editor’s note: a previous version of the story misidentified Chuck Baldwin’s title.
