Indiana Connections Career Academy, a tuition-free, full-time public virtual school in Indianapolis, is now enrolling students in grades 6 through 12 for the 2021–2022 school year. The academy says it has added grades 6 through 8 to its program.

The academy says it provides students with support from highly-skilled teachers and curriculum that focuses on academics and social-emotional learning.

“At Indiana Connections Career Academy, we have always provided our students with a stable education to help prepare them for a successful future,” said Stephanie Chi, principal of Indiana Connections Career Academy. “Based on the continued success of our career-focused program, we are opening our school to grades six to eight to help even more students gain real world experience through a high-quality education.”

Students can pursue graduation requirements to earn a high school diploma while also completing a career-focused program that prepares them for joining the workforce. The academy says it supports students with workforce and career readiness activities, academic and career counseling, CTE programs and opportunities for real-world experience.

The academy says students choose a career cluster to focus on during the school year, including business and technology, work-based learning and health sciences, culinary arts, nutrition and human development, cosmetology, and manufacturing and engineering.

Enrollment for Indiana Connections Career Academy’s 2021 – 2022 school year is now open. You can get details about upcoming information sessions and other events including dates and locations by clicking here.
