The Indiana Builders Association has elected its senior officers to serve in 2019. The new leadership will spearhead efforts to support regulations and laws that enable Hoosiers to own and maintain a home.

IBA is a statewide organization based in Indianapolis that has 23 local affiliates spread across eight geographic areas in Indiana. Representing Indiana’s home building, remodeling and light commercial construction industry, IBA is associated with the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C.

The 2019 IBA senior officers include:

• President: Don Thieneman (pictured), president of the Thieneman Group, Floyds Knobs

• Vice President: Brett Harter, owner of Harter Custom Homes, Leesburg

• Treasurer: Jeff Thomas, co-owner and vice president of Oakmont Development, Fort Wayne 

• Secretary: Paul Schwinghammer, Owner of Hallmark Homes, Anderson
