The Indiana Arts Commission has added to its Grants & Programs department. Stephanie Haines has been named community development manager and accessibility coordinator. She previously served as director of artist programs for Arts for Learning. In her new role, Haines will oversee the IAC’s education program PACE (Partnering Arts, Communities, and Education); Poetry Out Loud; Indiana State Poet Laureate program and Arts Organization Support III grant program. She earned a Master of Arts in Arts Administration degree from Indiana University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Art Education from the University of Indianapolis. Also, Anna Tragesser has been named community development manager, artist and capacity-building services. She will have the primary responsibility of managing the agency’s Individual Artists Program; Arts in the Parks and Historic Sites; Cultural District certification and developing Capacity Building activities including conferences, convening events and workshops. Tragesser earned her Bachelor degree in Public Relations and Media Communications from Taylor University. She is currently completing a dual Master degree in Arts Administration and Public Affairs Nonprofit Management. Prior to working with the IAC as an intern in 2016, she served as manager of corporate communications with Findlay, Ohio-based Pain Management Group.
