Two innovative players in the Indiana agriculture sector are coming together to assist farmers. Westfield-based AgReliant Genetics and West Lafayette-based Spensa Technologies will detail their new "precision agriculture multi-platform technology" on Monday.

The companies will introduce Advantage Acre. The technology is designed to help "private and major agriculture growers and growing consultants increase yield and reduce waste through increased knowledge and resources in farming fundamentals: seed, soil and weather."

The announcement will made at 9:30 a.m. at the Spensa Technologies headquarters at the Purdue Research Park.
