The Indiana Department of Transportation and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will take the next step for their preferred I-69 Ohio River Crossing Route. Officials with both agencies will Friday unveil details of the route and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement during an event in Evansville.

INDOT Project Manager Janelle Lemon, KYTC Project Manager Marshall Carrier and I-69 ORX Environmental Lead Dan Prevost will be on-hand for Friday’s event to discuss the DEIS and next steps for the route between Evansville and Henderson, Kentucky.

The DEIS should include maps and other information detailing the work that went into selecting the preferred route and identifying its potential impacts. The agencies will host public hearings and allow for a formal comment period to discuss the results.

Once released, the DEIS will be posted on the project website.
