The official lighting of the Pagoda this weekend will ignite the month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The second annual Rev event features live music, food, INDYCAR drivers and Food Network stars. Rev Event Specialist Carol Howard says they are expecting more than 2,200 people Saturday evening and expect to raise more than $400,000. Last year, they had around 1,500 guests and raised more than $100,000. More than 30 INDYCAR drivers and legends and three Food Network stars are expected to be at Rev.

Howard says guests will walk the red carpet and enjoy food from more than 50 restaurants. She says IMS will turn into a night club dance party for the last two hours of the event.

Rev is a fundraiser for IU Health. The money supports the track hospital at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and also helps state-wide trauma programs. Organizers say premiere tickets are still available for $300.
