Indiana Municipal Power Agency has promoted Peter Prettyman and Mel Denton. Pettyman was appointed senior vice president and general counsel. He joined the agency in 2014 as vice president and general counsel. Prettyman previously served as a litigation attorney with Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.
Denton was named assistant combustion turbine manager. He joined the agency in 2005 as a combustion turbine operator/technician and was later promoted to senior combustion turbine operator/compliance specialist. Denton has previously served as reactor operator in the U.S. Navy’s nuclear power program and also as equipment operator at First Energy’s Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
