Christina Huff has been awarded the 2019 Middle School Educator of the Year by the Indiana Music Education Association. She will officially accept the award on January 18 at the IMEA’s Professional Development Conference in Fort Wayne.

The IMEA gives this award each year to one educator at the elementary, middle school, high school and college levels. The award signifies these educators have exemplified outstanding achievement in the field of music education.

Huff teaches at McCulloch Junior High School in Marion, where she is the choir director for 135 students. Prior to that, she spent nearly six years teaching music at Indiana Wesleyan University. Huff graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor of science in Music Education.
