The company is investing nearly $2.7 million to acquire the building it has leased for nearly seven years in the Boone County city and add new machinery.
Co-founder Penny Nirider says the new equipment will allow the company to be more competitive with larger fabrication shops.
IGH Steel custom offers steel products for manufacturing customers in the state as well as services such as laser cutting, bending, sawing, rolling, welding, drilling and powder coating.
The Niriders say they funded the purchase of their building and equipment with a U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan from The Farmers Bank and Indiana Statewide CDC.
