The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has promoted David Watkins to state director of the Indiana Small Business Development Center. He has served in an interim role since March. Watkins also previously served as associate state director and director of network operations. Prior to joining IEDC, he was assistant director of the office of international affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Watkins holds an MBA in finance and international business from the Lacy School of Business at Butler University.
