The Indiana Department of Veterans’ Affairs has named Michael Thompson operations director. He previously served as state veteran program director at the Department of Workforce Development. Thompson is a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Indiana National Guard, where he has been an ammunition specialist in the 38th Sustainment Brigade at Camp Atterbury.
