The Indiana Biosciences Research Institute has named Jacob Smith director of information technology. He previously served as informatics solution architect at Dow AgroSciences. Smith also previously served as an independent consultant on Laboratory Information Management Systems, working on projects at Dow AgroSciences, Dow Chemical, Eli Lilly and Merck. He received his bachelor’s degree in physics and math from Wabash College.
