iAB Financial Bank has promoted William Thatcher III (pictured) to executive vice president and chief operating officer. The bank has also promoted John Blum (pictured) to senior vice president, business banking manager, and Andrew Yergler was appointed senior vice president, retail banking manager. Thatcher has been with the bank since April of 2015. He earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Aquinas College with a focus in Accounting and Business. Blum started at the bank last September. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Saint Francis (USF). His professional background of nearly 40 years in the financial industry includes experience in retail, credit and commercial banking. Blum serves as board president of MSD of Southwest Allen County Schools and is an Alumni Representative on the Finance and Investment Committee for USF. Yergler joined iAB in August 2015. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his Master of Business Administration from Indiana Tech. His professional background of more than 15 years in banking includes experience in retail and agribusiness banking, mortgage loans and business development. He is a board member for Community Harvest Food Bank and has been actively involved with the YMCA and the United Way.
