The Indiana Department of Transportation has scheduled three public meetings this week to update the I-69 Section 6 road project.
Section 6 is the approximately $1.5 billion final link of the I-69 extension, stretching from Martinsville to I-465 in Indianapolis.
INDOT says the meetings will provide an update on design refinements and the construction schedule for the project.
The project will upgrade the remaining stretch of SR 37 to interstate standards. It includes the elimination of at-grade crossings, constructs overpasses and underpasses.
Here are the meetings:
- Monday, Oct. 21 – Martinsville High School Cafeteria
- Tuesday, Oct. 22 – Center Grove High School Auditorium
- Thursday, Oct. 24 – Perry Meridian High School Auditorium
The meetings are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a presentation at 6 p.m.
