New Home For HuthOne

A family-owned metal plating business is locating operations in Whitley County. HuthOne Metal Finishing will be housed in part of the Coupled Products LLC building in Columbia City.

HuthOne, which was established just last year, recently acquired the plating division at Coupled Products and will provide plating services for the company within the 25,000 square-foot facility. HuthOne will also serve as a "one-stop shop" for other businesses looking for plating services.

HuthOne Owner Larry Huth says with the move, the company has retained five jobs and created two more. Huth hopes to double his staff within a year. The move represents a $500,000 investment thus far.

"Indiana has a great business climate," said Huth, "So we saw this as an opportunity to acquire and grow our operation and continue to provide services to our current customers in Indiana and Illinois."

HuthOne provides zinc and zinc-nickel plating services, as well as brazing, machining and assembly.
