Horizon Bank Announces Management Changes
The announced retirement of Horizon Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: HBNC) President James Neff has set off a variety of senior management changes at the Michigan City-based financial institution. Neff will retire Thursday after more than 44 years in the banking business. Neff announced his retirement in January.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Craig Dwight will temporarily assume the role of president until a new one is named.
The bank says Noe Najera will be promoted to executive vice president, responsible for consumer, mortgage, and mortgage-warehouse lending.
Executive Vice President Lynn Kerber will be promoted to chief commercial banking officer, succeeding Dennis Kuhn, who was appointed Horizon’s regional president for southwest Michigan.
The company says it will retain an executive search firm to conduct a national search for a permanent successor to Neff.
